What a bad drop rate i'm still trying to get my stones.
Anyway remember when he wanted Mandragor root cakes and the roots back then had a bad drop rate
Look at them now dropping like crazy lol
I still think Anet nerfs Nics Items or the other side of the coin everyone farming them lowers the drops for all.
Bad mean Anet.

Meh, lots of stuff to try. First run nada, but there's a week to go.
Been so long since I got a good gift, though, hard to keep going.

Found the group you're talking about, buta few questions. Are you alone in the party? Did you only kill that group?

lol do you have a clue how many resources there are in three chapters and the expansion? hahahaha You will be dead and gone before husks ever come back again as an item Nick wants. There's only 52 weeks in a year dude and there's 1000's of resources in the game. You'd do best just to sell them as merchant fodder now unless you want some collectors item for them.

An alliance memeber shared his hunting spot with me. Just go to Mordock Crevace in NF and enter the mission. There are lots of Mandragor's in the very first area to kill. I took 3 heroes do deal with the group of Corsairs at the first of the mission then flagged them away and use Spirit Spammer to deal with the Mandragors.

Wow that was a good link to a good build I took my Warrior out and got 8 stones and 10 husks in one run in Arjok Ward. That's just a wow build. Man I wish I could use that in RA PVP. ) hahaha I would soooooo stomp. Have to keep away from that named Mandragor as I tried his group twice and got beat.
That was the most fun farming I've had in awhile. thanks

That run worked for me , 2 first run , 3 on second. I guess those mandragors dont drop roots so stone drop is 3x better ?

I think some of you are exaggerating what is dropping. I spent a couple of hours last night in Arkjok Ward = nada. Then today, I spent 3-4 hours running through Arjok over and over again and came up with 4...a nice Guildie gave me the 5th one.
Yes, I tried the above-named areas in the desolation yesterday morning and afternoon.
This, IMHO, has been the worst drop rate since Nicholas started pimping us in April.

i call bullshit on these numbers. first of all, the mandragor in Arjok Ward don't drop husks...second of all - you would be lucky to get more than 5 ROOTS in one run there (solo), and if you manage to get 2-3 luminous stones in one run you better go buy a lottery ticket. I did one run in Arjok as a solo spirit spammer, got 4 roots and 1 stone which fell on the last enemy of the run (approx. 40-50 mandragors total). Luckily, I had 4 stones leftover from the root farming I did early on for Nick months ago which supports the notion of a low drop rate for stones as I must have farmed 50 roots or more (back when nick farming was a profitable endevour) and only got 4 stones...

Did Arkjok on a solo build and was only getting 1-2 a run with one unusual 3. Moddok was my first pick but it's a less target rich environment. Wound up doing x5 to help guild out and never saw these extraordinary numbers. Roots were probably something like 4:1, I didn't bother to keep track. Personally I still think Sapphire Djinn Essence was a more troublesome farm but this week is up there.

I did the Gate of Desolation farm. Took 3 runs to get 5 stones. Ran solo Ranger SpiritSpammer and just killed the one group. No wurms.
